I have considered myself a hacker since the mid 1990's. I remember when the flame of curiosity was lit. One ight my dad was on the computer reading something and casually mentioned to my mom that if you put a certain crystal in a touch tone dialer you could make free phone calls (something known as a [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_box#Theory|bluebox]].) While blue boxes were, for the most part, already obsolete by this time, it got my young mind going and I wanted to learn more, so I would use free computer time at school to read and learn more. The more I learned, the more I wanted to learn. I was hooked.\\
I entered High School and while my interest in Hacking book a back seat to many other interests it was still there, pushing me to keep learning about computers and technology. After HS i enlisted in the military.\\
After the military I went to college to study web development. It was at this time my interest in hacking came back to the foreground. I started to read [[https://2600.com/|2600]] and listen to their radio shows, [[https://2600.com/offthehook/|Off the Hook]] and [[https://2600.com/offthewall/|Off the Wall]].

While I have subscribed to the hacker mentality for most of my life, my skills are far from where I want them to be. I am starting this site, [[https://hacktheplanet.pw|Jedite83 Hacks The Planet]]. This site is my notes as I learn. I am sharing them here to give back to the hacker community.\\
